OverviewWhy Use Clip Art
WOW recommends the use of imagesphotographs and clip artwhen presenting high-wage nontraditional career options to women and girls. Including images of women in recruitment, orientation and training materials:
- Conveys that it is possible for a woman to train for and obtain work in male-dominated fields
- Shows support for women currently working on the job
Through WOW's Work4Women Multimedia Gallery project, WOW compiles and creates clip art to help educators, career counselors, employment trainers, employers and unions recruit and train women and girls for high-wage NTOs.
NOTE: Some clip art requires payment for usage. Others are free with proper credit.
